14 Mukhi Rudraksha
Traditionally associated with Lord Hanuman, and Shiva. Fourteen natural lines from top to bottom. Rare.
How to recognise a 14 Mukhi bead
Count the deep natural lines that run from the top of the bead to the bottom. A 14 Mukhi bead has 14 of them. Ignore shallow surface cracks that stop part way.
Size, colour and shape vary from bead to bead. None of these change the mukhi.
Wearing and care
A bead is usually worn on a red or black thread, or capped in silver or gold, so that it touches the skin. Keep it dry, away from soap and perfume, and oil it lightly with pure ghee or sandalwood oil once a month.
